Nomination of Medical Laboratory professional for Award of Excellence
At the pleasure of the Head of State, His Excellency Dr Lazarus McCarthy Chakwera who has introduced an Award of Excellence for best Healthcare Workers in Malawi Hospitals, the Ministry of Health (MoH) has instituted an Interprofessional committee for this cause. The Committee shall be called MoH EMPLOYEE AWARD AND RECOGNITION COMMITTEE. (MOH-ARC). Frequency of the awards will be very 3 months.
The MoH ARC will facilitate the identification, vetting, nomination and presentation of best healthcare workers for the award from/by the State President. Membership of the committee will be drawn from representatives of professional boards/associations of health care workers which are legally registered and have a recognition agreement with the Ministry of Health. The Malawi Association of Medical Laboratory Scientist (MAMLS) is the member to this committee.
